“The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen, nor touched, but are felt in the heart.” Helen Keller
Love is a word that we use to describe a heart connection to others. The strong affection we feel toward another is a driving force for all our behaviors. To feel connected, not alone, and cared for is a natural desire.
Have you ever wondered just how much you can unfold your ability to love and be loved?
The expression of love, as you know, is a give and a take. How much energy you are willing to invest in relationship depends on many factors including:
–your time of life
–your desire to be in relationship
–your willingness to be vulnerable,
–your ability to invest your time and energy with another.
–your openness to self-love.
Within an Empowerment Process session, relationship issues often come up when people feel misunderstood or mistreated. In most cases, there is confusion about their own feelings and their inability to communicate them. Issues generally linger from childhood when feelings were overlooked, disregarded and somehow damaged.
It then seems natural to be emotionally protective in order to avoid further trauma. The block to opening the heart can be frustrating, confusing and even painful. That not only means there is a block to feeling emotionally safe to share, but also a block to feeling safe to receive love from someone else. You can imagine anyone who had been abused emotionally, physically or sexually might have a safety issue.
With the EP, you can take any obstacle, any event in your life that has caused trauma, discomfort and pain and “use” it as an opportunity for transformation and growth to bring in a new perspective and consequently a more comfortable energetic reality. In other words, when you create a new vision of reality, you will be able to more easily open your heart and accept your new energy to love and be loved.
As you transform your energy through the Empowerment Process, you offer yourself a great gift. You can bring in the qualities that nurture yourself and others, and dispense with those that dis-empower and create a negative impact. You will find courage, hope and a new opportunity for more sweetness in your evolution.
In the end, you’ll recognize that the expression of love is a self-referral process that enhances your own self-worth, giving you the courage, confidence, and ability to experience the sweetness of love from everyone. How can you really love someone else if you don’t first love yourself?
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi’s quote puts this truth into perspective. “All love is directed to the Self.” And “I love you, and it’s no concern of yours.” The fullness of heart is its own fulfillment that is readily shared just by being ourselves.
Take the opportunity to shift out of anything that thwarts your ability to appreciate yourself and everyone around you.
I find that my own heart expands as I work with the inner beauty of those who are ready for a powerful transformation. Divine love inevitably opens in the process.
