As we step into the New Year, the holiday season now behind us, there is often a quiet shift. The celebrations fade, routines return, and we’re left with what remains beneath it all. This time can bring reflection—on the love we’ve known, and on the people and experiences we may be missing.
You may know this about me, but I have lost both of my children. Even though they are no longer on this planet, I still feel them with me during this time of year. Their love is woven into every memory. That love doesn’t disappear. It transforms.
I’ve come to understand that the greatest gift we can give ourselves is presence and the willingness to meet whatever is here with love.
Not perfection
Or forced joy.
Just presence.
If you feel called, I would love for you to join me in this exercise:
Sit quietly. This can be 30 seconds or five minutes.
Bring to mind someone or something you love deeply.
Let the feeling of love, not the memory, fill your body.
Say quietly inside then repeat it verbally: “Thank you. I am grateful for your presence in my life.”
Notice what shifts in your energy.
Love continues, even when people or moments change form.
If you feel called to begin the new year with deeper healing…
The Empowerment Process® is a gentle, powerful method I developed to help us release old wounds and create a new internal reality, one rooted in love, peace, and possibility.
