Sometimes the hardest part of healing isn’t what we feel, it’s naming it.
Many of us carry emotions that are tangled, heavy, or even confusing. You might feel stuck in a relationship, a job, or just in your own head and wonder why it’s so hard to move forward.
Here’s a small exercise you can try today:
Take a deep breath and sit quietly with your feelings: even 2 minutes can help.
Write down 5 words that describe how you’re feeling. Don’t overthink it.
Take your pen and circle one. Which word shines out to you on the page?
Ask yourself why you feel this way. Write a sentence. Don’t judge it, just notice it.
Repeat tomorrow, and notice if your words change or grow.
This is the kind of work we guide you through in The Empowerment Process online course: turning vague, heavy feelings into clear, tangible words and discovering the power and insight that lives within those words.
